Tooth decay has been a prevalent dental problem among kids, but it also affects a majority of adults. If you go and ask any dentist, he would probably say that one of the top concerns people consult to him has something to do with tooth decay. We all know that calcium helps make our teeth stronger that is why we have long associated milk with strong teeth. Other good sources of calcium are broccoli, fish, and orange juice.
It is also recommended that you should avoid eating foods that are very rich in carbohydrates especially candies and junk food like chips. It sticks to the tooth enamel making it weak and more prone to bacteria and tooth decay.
And last but not the least, Dr. Jonathan Hartley highly suggests that you visit your dentist on a more regular basis. This is so your dentist can see if there are any changes, whether good or bad, on your mouth and teeth.
